Module Structure

This module is divided into five sections for a comprehensive, self-paced learning experience. While it's not a certified course and lacks strict deadlines, completing it in its entirety is crucial for gaining a broad skill set and maximizing your learning potential. To benefit fully, establishing a consistent study schedule is essential, as is engaging actively with the content and the learning community. This engagement not only deepens your understanding but also enriches your experience by connecting with the experiences and aspirations of fellow learners. Should you face obstacles in maintaining consistent participation, our learning support team is here to assist.


Each section of the course concludes with a reflection exercise, allowing you to contemplate the knowledge gained and integrate your learning. As a participant in this course, you will encounter two main assessments. The first assessment is designed to gauge your existing knowledge and comprehension of the Canadian labour market and Canada as a whole. No additional research is required for this initial assessment; it simply aims to assess your existing understanding and better tailor our support for you and future participants.

Towards the conclusion of the course, you will undergo an exit assessment to evaluate your overall understanding of the material. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the course content and learning design. Your feedback is vital in helping us refine the module for the benefit of future participants. It's important to note that this feedback section will not be graded, but completing it is a requirement to successfully conclude the module. Your input is highly valued in improving the learning experience for others.
